Preliminary Employment Application

Requirements for Deputy Sheriff, Detention Officer, Telecommunicator

•  21 years of age
•  United States Citizen
•  Valid NC Drivers License
•  Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
•  NC Basic Law Enforcement Training; or Detention Officer Certificate; or Telecommunications Certificate
•  Able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, medical exam and credit check
•  Provide copy of birth certificate
•  Provide Social Security Card
•  Provide copy of Military discharge, DD214 (if applicable)
